The Property dashboard shows one monitored property and the targets that belong to it.
Use this page to review the property status, run checks now, pause or resume monitoring, add targets, manage notification routing, open target details, and remove targets or the property itself.
What this page is for
The property dashboard answers one practical question:
How is this property doing, and what should Watch check next?
A property can have one or more targets. Each target is a URL Watch checks on a schedule.
Property identity
At the top of the page, Watch shows the property name and primary URL.
You can edit the property name. The name is only a friendly label shown in the app.
The primary URL is locked after creation. If you need a different primary URL, create a new property. You can still add more targets to the current property.
Property status
The status card summarizes the current property state.
Up
No warning or down targets are currently shown.
Warning
One or more targets need review.
Down
One or more targets are currently down.
Unknown
Targets are waiting for their first check, or Watch does not have enough recent check data yet.
Paused
Monitoring is paused for this property. The property and targets stay saved, but scheduled checks do not run until monitoring is resumed.
Run now
Use Run now to ask Watch to check the property now instead of waiting for the next scheduled time.
Run now applies to the property. Target-level pages do not have their own Run now button.
Refresh
Use Refresh to reload the property, target status rows, monitoring settings, and notification routing from the local Watch workspace.
Refreshing does not delete or create anything.
Pause or resume monitoring
Use Pause monitoring to stop scheduled checks for the property.
Use Resume monitoring to make the property eligible for scheduled checks again.
Paused properties stay saved. You can still review their settings and targets.
Summary cards
The property dashboard shows summary cards for:
- enabled targets
- down targets
- warnings
- next due time
The Next due card also shows when the property was last checked.
Notification routing
The Notification routing card controls where Watch sends messages for this property.
Notifications are user-owned Slack or Discord webhook destinations saved in your local Watch workspace.
Alerts
Alerts are sent when a target goes down or needs review.
Recovered
Recovered messages are sent when a target comes back up after an alert.
Add a destination
Use Add destination to add a Slack or Discord webhook without leaving the property dashboard.
When you add a destination here, it can be used for this property. You can manage all destinations from Settings later.
Choose routing
Use the Alerts and Recovered columns to choose what each destination receives.
These choices apply to every target in this property. Target detail pages show this routing as read-only.
Targets
The Monitored targets table lists each URL Watch checks for this property.
Each target row includes:
- target URL
- current status
- whether target monitoring is enabled or paused
- check mode
- interval
- last checked time
- next due time
- actions
Use Open to review a target in detail.
Use the monitoring toggle in the row to pause or enable a target.
Use Delete target to remove a target, its target state, and its monitoring history.
Add target
Use Add target to add another URL under this property.
A target needs:
- a full http:// or https:// URL
- a check mode
- a check interval
- a failure threshold
- whether it should be enabled
- whether notifications are enabled for that target
New targets can use this property’s notification routing.
Delete property
Use Delete property only when you want to remove the whole property from this local Watch workspace.
Deleting a property removes its targets, target state, and monitoring history. This cannot be undone.
Troubleshooting
Property could not be loaded
Watch could not load the selected property. It may have been deleted, or the local workspace may need to be refreshed.
Try Try again or return to the Monitoring page.
Property name is required.
Enter a friendly property name before saving.
Run now failed
Watch could not start a manual check for the property.
Refresh the property and try again. If the problem continues, check whether the app is running normally and whether the target URLs are reachable from this computer.
Target URL is required.
Enter the URL Watch should check.
Enter a valid URL, including http:// or https://.
The target URL must be a full URL.
Good examples:
https://example.com/status
https://example.com/support
http://localhost:5173
Target URL must start with http:// or https://.
Watch only supports HTTP and HTTPS targets in this form.
Target URL host must be a domain like example.com, localhost, or an IP address.
Use a full domain, localhost, or an IP address.
Check interval must be at least 1 second.
Enter a check interval of 1 second or more.
Failure threshold must be at least 1.
Enter how many failed runs are required before the target is marked down.
Target cannot be deleted
Watch could not find a saved target ID for the row. Refresh the property and try again.
