The Monitoring page is the main dashboard for Siteimp Watch. It shows the properties saved on this computer and summarizes whether their targets are up, warning, down, paused, or waiting for their first check.

A property is the local home for one monitored site or service. A target is a specific URL checked under that property.

Siteimp Watch is local-first monitoring. The dashboard shows local monitoring state while the app is running and your computer is awake.

What this page is for

The Monitoring page answers one practical question:

What needs attention right now?

Use this page to:

  • see how many properties are saved
  • see how many targets are enabled
  • find down targets
  • find warning targets
  • open a property dashboard
  • add another property
  • refresh the local monitoring list

When there are no properties

If Watch has no saved properties yet, the page shows an empty state with an Add property button.

Add your first property to create the first target, schedule, and local monitoring state. Until a property exists, Watch has nothing to check.

Summary cards

When you have at least one property, Watch shows summary cards near the top of the page.

Properties

The Properties card shows how many monitoring properties are saved and how many have monitoring enabled.

Enabled targets

The Enabled targets card shows how many targets are currently eligible to run scheduled checks.

Paused targets can stay saved without being checked.

Down targets

The Down targets card shows targets that are currently in a confirmed down state.

Down targets should be reviewed first.

Warnings

The Warnings card shows targets that need review but are not currently shown as down.

A warning can mean Watch received a response that was not a normal successful response, or that a check produced a state worth reviewing.

Property table

The property table lists each monitored property.

Each row includes:

  • the property name
  • the primary URL
  • the current status
  • enabled and total target counts
  • warning or down counts
  • the last checked time
  • the next due time
  • whether property monitoring is enabled or paused

You can open a property by selecting its row or using the Open button.

Status labels

Up

The property is currently healthy based on its enabled targets.

Warning

At least one target needs review.

Down

At least one target is currently down.

Unknown

Watch does not have enough recent check data to show a stronger status yet.

Paused

Monitoring is paused for the property. Paused properties stay saved, but Watch does not schedule checks for them until monitoring is resumed.

Last checked and next due

Last checked shows when Watch last recorded a check for the property.

Next due shows when the next scheduled check is expected.

If a property or target has not run yet, these fields may show that no check has been recorded yet.

Refresh the dashboard

Use Refresh to reload the local monitoring list from this computer.

Refreshing the page does not create a new property and does not run checks. It only reloads the saved monitoring data shown in the dashboard.

Add another property

Use Add property to create another property and its first target.

This is useful when you want to monitor a different site, service, localhost app, status page, or internal URL that your computer can reach.

Troubleshooting

Monitoring properties could not be loaded

Watch could not read the saved monitoring property list from this computer.

Try Try again or Refresh. If the message keeps appearing, restart Siteimp Watch and reopen the Monitoring page.
