When I was a kid I wanted to be a house builder or a Jedi. As an adult, I actually get to build stuff or help other gifted people build things. I don't build with hammers in nails, instead I build with software. It's a really incredible honour and I am grateful for every moment of it.

I get to build things because of dreams. Whether it's my dream or a client's, everything I work on was once (or currently is) a dream. You dream it, you see it, you spend many many many sleepless nights wondering why the hell it doesn't work...and maybe someday it does.

And sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you can't fix it and the sleepless nights lead to burnout, deep sadness and months away from code. Months away from life.

And still, eventually I get to build again. Not really because of stubbornness but because of a whole lot of great people who keep believing in me and joining me on these crazy rides.

Thanks to all of you.
