Several weeks ago, I was debugging some weird indexing problems on the FitnessTracker website when I realized how badly I needed Siteimp. The old version from 2022 still ran (which was a bit of a miracle) but it was really showing its age and simply didn't expose some information that I needed to fully solve the problem. I had been planning on writing a desktop version of Siteimp since 2023, but this was the push I needed.

Two sprints later and things are coming along nicely. The new version of Siteimp is built with Tauri and React, which means it will eventually be cross platform (hopefully by the end of 2026) but the first release will be Windows only. The new version is much more powerful than the old and will run on your own infrastructure for improved service, better pricing and better security. It will be sold on a buy once / own forever-ish basis. The forever-ish basis is because I want to sell the first version through the Windows App Store and am getting some conflicting information on whether or not they still support true buy once / own forever apps.
